We recommend using distilled, bottled OR filtered water, as this will improve the performance of the machine. Tap water with a hardness of <100 PPM is also acceptable. The machine will NOT produce ice if tap water with a hardness > 100 PPM is used.
The machine has the capability to produce a maximum of 30 lbs. of ice per 24 hours (over 1lb an hour).

• Unplug the machine.
• Remove the reservoir door and fill the machine by sight to the max fill line located on the back of the water reservoir.
• Replace the cover and plug the unit into power.
• Press the Make Nuggets button once and wait for the Making Ice LED to flash slowly.
Every 3-4 weeks, you must use the auto-cleaning program with a solution and ee recommend using 4-5 tablespoons of citric acid (best) or 1 cup of distilled white vinegar.
